About Me

Zeqi is currently a Ph.D. student at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Xiamen University (XMU). He is working in Graphics@XMU under the supervision of Prof. Juan Cao.

Zeqi received his M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Hangzhou Dianzi University (HDU) in 2026. His research focused on Computer-Aided Geometric Design, under the supervision of Prof. Chongyang Deng.

Zeqi received his B.Mgt. degree in Information Management and Information Systems from Hangzhou Dianzi University (HDU) in 2022, where he was advised by Assoc. Prof. Xueqi Xu. During his undergraduate studies, fueled by a passion for programming, he independently mastered mutiple programming languages and explored a broad range of topics in computer science. This self-directed learning not only broadened his technical horizons but also established a robust foundation for his future academic growth. In 2022, due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, Zeqi was unable to return to Hangzhou after completing his internship at SI-TECH in Chengdu. As a result, he missed the opportunity to attend his graduation photo session, which became one of his great regrets. After half a year of dedicated preparation, he was admitted to a master's program and documented parts of his gradute entrance examination journey through videos on his Bilibili channel (@gezeqi). He firmly believes that if given the chance to return to his alma mater, he will continue to pursue his academic dreams in this hallowed land of learning.

• Jun 2025: Zeqi will visit Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) in Lugano, Switzerland for a three-month academic visit where he will conduct collaborative research under the supervision of Prof. Kai Hormann.🎉
• Jun 2025: Welcome Dr. Mahenina for an academic visit at HDU.🎉
• Apr 2025: Welcome Prof. Kai Hormann for an academic lecture at HDU.🎉
• Oct 2024: Zeqi will welcome Prof. Kai Hormann and his student, Dr. Mahenina, at Shanghai Pudong International Airport.🎉
